The Department opens Heidelberg road (K109)

The Department of Public Transport Roads & Works (DPTRW) will officially open the upgraded Heidelberg road (K109) on 28 July 2006. The opening ceremony will take place on site, with a number of dignitaries attending. The road, which links Carnival City Casino and Heidelberg, was constructed by the Department at a cost of R104 Million. read more>>

The Department of Public Transport, Roads and Works hosted a workshop to prepare for this year's car free day and public transport month campaigns. The workshop was held at the Parktonian Hotel, in Braamfontein. About 500 delegates attended this successful workshop whose main purpose was to plan the 2006 Car Free Day and Public Transport Month. read more>>
